Khaled was born on November 26, 1975 to Palestinian parents in New Orleans, Louisiana.. His parents had emigrated to the United state of America, and they were musicians too, which is considered to be how DJ Khaled developed an interest in music at an early stage. In the 1990s, Khaled was a DJ on the Miami hip-hop radio station 99 Jamz; that’s when he first became known. The group Terror Squad hired Khaled as their DJ because of his job at the radio station. Khaled purchased Robbie Williams’s former house in Mulholland Estates in January 2017 for $9.9 million; it was a gated community in Los Angeles. In April 2021, he sold it for $12.5 million, $1.5 million over his original asking price!
